Butterfly Central
Unbelievable! I've never seen so many butterflies together. These are a mix of different whites; there's definitely at least one green-veined white in there.
So pretty when they all take off, but not welcome on the allotment for anyone who hasn't netted their brassicas. ..
They are again near the crleriac drinking minerals and water from the damp earth - I don't know what's so special about that part of the plot.
Nice video. Had similar today with about half a dozen Skippers on Strawberry leaves just after a rain shower and the sun was back out shining on the leaves.
ReplyDeleteThanks. There are masses of butterflies around this year - my butterfly count showed many more than last year. And there are a lot of cinnabar and peacock caterpillars about so will expect to see a lot of them in a few weeks...
